The Valiant Bar, formerly just a transitional space for Q-Event, has undergone a stunning transformation. Inspired by our previous work for Flour Child Richmond, the client Simon, approached us with a clear vision for this project: to transform this modest waiting area into a luxurious, revenue-boosting venue.
Simon approached us with a goal that was as ambitious as it was exciting. He wanted to create a bar reminiscent of a Porsche’s sophistication – a place where premium food, drinks, and service would draw in a clientele ready to indulge in an exceptional experience.
Our journey began with a thorough site visit to grasp Simon’s vision. He envisioned a high-end bar that would not only enhance revenue but also attract a discerning crowd.
With detailed floor plans in hand, Mikayla, conducted another visit to fine-tune the design. Our focus was on optimizing seating capacity while preserving the opulent atmosphere Simon desired.
One of our key challenges was ensuring that new furniture matched existing pieces to maintain a cohesive look. Despite this, our team was dedicated to aligning the new design with the vision.
We carefully selected custom furniture to elevate the bar’s luxurious ambiance:
- Custom Booths and Ottomans: Upholstered in velvet-look fabric for a touch of elegance.
- Coffee Tables and Bar Tables: Featuring black marble tops with gold legs to accentuate the high-end feel.
These choices helped create a sophisticated environment that perfectly matched the bar’s premium positioning.
Today, The Valiant Bar is one of Melbourne’s most exciting hidden cocktail spots, exuding a relaxed, speakeasy vibe with outstanding customer service and a friendly staff.
